A friend was in the hospital and knowing how lovely hospital food is I stopped in on the way to visit him. Fudge eclairs, Linzer tarts and a Black and White Cookie. What more can i say..... everything was exquistie like normal and when I want to Spoil myself and others I hit Freeds!!!!
I do not eat any cake except carrot. I thought I would try this because it looks so good. Well I tell you it is simply scrumptious! Superior and well worth the money!

I love Freed’s cakes — especially the Parisian Chocolate, which I always request for my birthday. It is to die for. But this year, I changed it to the Almond Amaretto, and I was not disappointed. It was so light and airy, and had the most subtle Amaretto and almond flavor. The candied Almonds was perfect. Everyone at the office raved about it. I said, yes, Freed’s has the best cakes! And the response was, “this is the best Freed’s cake!” You can’t go wrong with a Freed’s cake, but this Almond Amaretto was the absolute best. It’s good enough to be a wedding cake IMHO. I’m still dreaming about it and will order it again.
Soo yummy! Staff did a great job decorating it for my mother’s July 4th birthday. Very pleased!
