Schedule personalized time with a cake consultant to discuss details regarding your event and design! You also have the option to include a sampling of some of our most popular cake combinations with a $20 non-refundable deposit that may be used towards your cake order provided the order is placed within 90 days of the tasting.

Appointment Details
Our tastings are available on the hour from 10am through 5pm seven days a week. There is a $20 deposit for all consultations that include a tasting. Tastings may last up to 45 minutes. Your cake tasting deposit may be used towards your cake order provided the order is placed within 60 days of the tasting. Appointments must be made at least 48 hours in advance. Scheduling your tasting allows us to ensure that we have the appropriate staff to provide you with stellar personalized attention!

We ask that you limit the tasting to two individuals total due to seating. We adore children and welcome them to be a part of their tasting. We also ask that parents do their best to remember that we have several consultants sharing our consultation room and want to do our best to respect the space in terms of volume (whether mobile device or voice). We ask that children remain seated during the appointment and keep volume within a respectful limit. If you feel that’s not an option, we ask that you refrain from bringing your little one(s). Thank you for your understanding!
We ask that guests please respect the allotted 45 minute time frame as we have several appointments booked throughout the day and want to be able to provide the same level of service and commitment of time to all of our guests.
At Freed's, we do our best to accommodate all our guests. We also understand that life happens. Traffic, weather, accidents, etc. we understand. If you are running late please call and make the consultant aware. We want to be able to provide the appointment in its entirety and we will try our hardest to accommodate. However after 15 minutes your appointment is subject to change. Please understand this is never a ‘punishment’, it is only to prevent overlap into the rest of our appointments within the day. Tastings are only available at our Eastern location and are not available at Dessert Shop locations at this time.
Flavors included during the tasting are:
- White cake filled with Bavarian cream & strawberry puree, iced with buttercream.
- Chocolate cake filled with Bavarian cream & raspberry puree, iced with buttercream.
- Red Velvet cake filled with cream cheese icing, topped with buttercream.
- Marble cake filled with mocha mousse, topped with 50/50 icing.
- Lemon cake filled with Bavarian cream & lemon puree, topped with 50/50 icing.
- Almond cake filled with amaretto mousse, topped with 50/50 icing
Unless otherwise noted, all cakes require refrigeration.
Some designs may utilize decoration that shows specific numbers, names, writing, etc. Please note on your order if you have specific ideas about what writing you'd like to see used on your cake, including numbers on poker chips or other items. We're happy to review and accomodate requests when possible!
