Some designs may utilize decoration that shows specific numbers, names, writing, etc. Please note on your order if you have specific ideas about what writing you'd like to see used on your cake, including numbers on poker chips or other items. We're happy to review and accomodate requests when possible!

The cake is quite a bit of chocolate. I only got it because of the deal. It is delicious. I prefer the Parsian chocolate though

This is one of my favorite cakes from Freed's. The cake is moist and the three other chocolates, fudge, frosting and ganache, make it a chocolate lover's delight! My daughter likes to have hers with a cold cup of milk, I enjoy mine with a bit of German brandy. Definitely a great boost to the endorphines at any time!

My favorite decadent chocolate cake!
This is my favorite cake slice from freeds. It tastes very similar to the Parisian chocolate cake however that fudge in the middle makes it worth your while. If you’re a chocolate lover like me I recommend this one.
I began my Freed's obsession with your buttercream frosting and ate any version of that for many years. Then one day I had the blackout cake. Well, needless to say, I've been conflicted ever since. I can't say enough about this cake, it is moist, decadent, and simply the best. I'm not a huge fan of chocolate so it takes something really special to turn my dessert head and this cake certainly has....thank you for this slice of heaven.

This is my favorite all time cake at Freed's. I may come in for a different cake, but along with it I am taking home a slice of this scrumtious Chocolate Fudge Blackout cake. We have been going to this bakery for many years since they were on Trop. If I could I would buy a whole cake, but no one else in my family likes chocolate. Freeds has stood the test of time and you can always count on them to be open. I've seen many bakeries come and go throughout the valley. Nobody does it better than Freed's!!!
The chocolate is so creamy and fudge that runs through the middle is tasty.

We just received this cake today for my 50th birthday. I told my daughter this was the cake I wanted based of the reviews and the name of the cake. I thought this would be a really rich moist very rich chocolate fudge tasting cake. It wasn't. I took two bites of my cake and couldn't even eat it. It was dry and tasted like a basic chocolate cake. Actually, I think a store box one would've tasted better. I was very disappointed. I've purchased many cakes from Freeds and this one didn't hold up to any expectations or descriptions. This is an honest review.

By explosion, I mean explosion of flavor. Not the post morning coffee kind of chocolate explosion. I ate this cake until I felt kinda sick and then I kept eating more because the mouth pleasure was immense. 10/10 would recommend.
