Worth the Gamble

The cake we chose for our wedding was Worth the gamble(found under the weddings tab) we chose it because we liked the design, we didn’t need anything big and we were on a budget. It was also a destination wedding, so we couldn’t take any back home with us. However, that cake fed more then 30 people. My husband doesn’t like fruit in cake but I do. The staff at Freeds, especially Janie, was so accommodating and helpful with ideas and problem solving. We were able to both get what we want. I had the bottom layer with pineapple purée And the others had Bavarian cream. This way we can just cut that layer out for him. The cake was moist and tasted so good. The design was better then expected. We both couldn’t believe how perfect it was. As many of us know, Sometimes these things never come out the way it’s advertised. We made a few changes to the design because we had our own cake topper and an Elvis figurine, so we changed the Vegas sign to the king/queen of hearts and put the number 10 on the chips for our wedding month of October. The cake felt like it was done in such a caring manner. I hated to cut into it lol. Thank you Freeds for being a part of making our wedding memorable and complete. We will recommend you to anyone who needs a cake in Las Vegas.
